MTP Recommendation: Great trap for beaver and otter.
The MB-1216-JC Megabear has the strongest springs on the market and is the only body grip trap with full 3/8” striker bars. U.S.A. music wire springs with flat Super Safeties are standard equipment. The Megabear is extra heavy duty from top to bottom.
At 12” high and 16” wide the Megabear will fill many channels and streams with minimal blocking. As will all large body grip traps, we strongly recommend the use of a safety gripper for personal safety.
