Cherry Oil is a proven scent for muskrats and a powerful enhancer when blended with beaver castor. Its rich, fruity scent triggers a natural response in muskrats and other water-dwelling furbearers. Also, is very attractive to bears.
Why it works:
Cherry Oil mimics the smell of fruit, leaves, and young tree branches—a natural part of a muskrat or beaver's diet. When animals catch wind of this sweet, tree-based aroma, it taps into their natural curiosity and feeding habits, making it an ideal addition to food and curiosity lure formulas.
Recommended for:
-
Muskrat trapping as a standalone lure
-
Enhancing beaver castor-based lure formulas
-
Pocket sets, smear sets, and bait stations
-
Bait stations for bears
