1/2" rebar cut to 24" in length. A nut welded to the top to increase surface area and ensure the swivel doesn't slip over the rebar. Also, cut at an angle for ease of driving into the ground.
Used for staking down your traps. The best option for staking with rebar is cross staking. There are cross stake or double stake swivels that replace the swivel on the end of your trap chain. Drive your stakes in at angles so that the stakes cross and make an X underground. This improves your holding power without needing to use longer stakes. You can use a single stake for smaller predators such as raccoon, mink, and opossum.
